About

Susan Balding

Hi, I’m Sue Balding. I’m a certified Family/Parenting Coach and the mother of four children.

Trust me, it has not been all smooth sailing.

Figuring out how to care for four “little people”, three dogs, four cats, one bird, and how to mow 4 acres a week was a challenge. Oh, I forgot, I also worked from home and had one commuting husband. If you are from this arena you know that commuting is in itself a time stealer and the rest was up to me.

I couldn’t figure out how I got myself into this predicament. Once I realized I did this to myself I knew that I had better figure it out and fast! Then they went to school. That only complicated matters and is a whole story unto itself.

Children with “differences” in our school system are often slipped through the cracks, told they have to be on medication (not true) and you stand there doe-eyed wondering where this all came from. YOU are their champion so you better learn what’s up. Family Coaching can help you.

One thing I have found in my travails as a Mom is that with education we all can persevere, learn how to problem solve, have win-win situations fly off the pages into reality. Love to our fullest extent and then some. Come join me for an exciting, fun filled, learning experience through HELP FOR MOM COACHING.

When all my “little people” were grown and moved out I had a few months of depression, feeling sorry for myself, wondering what happened to all the work I’d done; all that information I’d acquired? Thoughts like, “Now what?” All this information needs to be shared some how.

Then I decided to go back to school and learn more tools to help other Moms to be empowered in their lives and be excited about this job that they have. It has been a very gratifying journey and I am thrilled to be able to share it with you.

In the end, I have loved every chaotic minute of it, hated it too, but have come out the other side a much wiser, compassionate, hopeful human being. My children and my life have taught me some pretty amazing lessons. A lot of which I wasn’t expecting either.

What is important is that we take this “MOM” job seriously and do the best we can NOW. That doesn’t mean taking ourselves seriously. There needs to be a lot of sugar (found behind each ear of a child, with kisses) and fun mixed in to make their world of wonder, as well as structure for the vehicle to get there with love.
